The OUMeGA was formed in the year 1983. It has grown from strength to strength with support and help of devoted and dedicated members who have selflessly given their time and energies to build the Association to what it is today.
Current plans are in the offing to extend the membership to new arrivals of doctors from the Osmania University both pre and post PLAB. Also, a special drive to publicise the existence of the Association is underway. These measures will boost the number of members.
Current members come from various specialities from all levels of experience and cadres. It is hoped that this rich resource will be put to good use by those who need help, assistance and support in their formative, early years in the NHS. We generally meet once a year, to double it as a socio-administrative gathering where in the AGM and cultural activities have come to become a much looked forward to event.
